On The Grid was a project executed with collaborator Brian Rosa and funded by a grant from the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts (RISCA) in which both photographers traced the trajectory of high tension power lines through the state of Rhode Island. In these triptychs, photographs were taken within a 1/2 mile radius of specific points along the lines, which were measured by a hand-held GPS device. The sites photographed for this investigation were selected with ARC-GIS, a mapping software which was later utilized to create a map of each point visited along the power lines.
